Cellist Audrey Jellett has performed with the National Youth Orchestra-USA, Texas All-State Philharmonic, World Youth Symphony Orchestra, and with the Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra on tour at New World Center. Audrey began her musical studies at the age of three and has since gone on to study with Annette DiGiosia of the San Antonio Symphony, Dr. Patrick Owen at Interlochen Arts Academy, and Julia Lichten at the Manhattan School of Music. An avid chamber musician, Audrey is the co-founder of Ensemble Elysian which concertizes throughout the New York City area. Audrey has attended two summers at Interlochen Arts Camp, as well as l’Académie Orford Musique and the Meadowmount School of Music. While at Meadowmount, Audrey was given the opportunity to study with renowned cellist Lynn Harrell. Following her first summer at Meadowmount, Audrey continued her education at Interlochen Arts Academy and performed as principal cellist with the Arts Academy Orchestra on NPR’s From the Top. At Interlochen, she graduated with academic honors as well as a Fine Arts award. Audrey has since received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music and enjoys performing around Manhattan at venues such as the Morgan Library and Carnegie Hall. Audrey is also employed by Third Street Music School as cello faculty, and at Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing in partnership with their community-wide music outreach events.
